We accept children from age 5 and up, as well as adult learners of all levels.
At our International Arabic & Qur'an Academy, our mission is to empower students of all ages to thrive in their Arabic and Qur'anic studies through a supportive, engaging, and personalised learning environment. Born from firsthand experience across centres in Egypt — and shaped by listening to the concerns of students — our academy was founded to fill the gaps that truly matter. One issue we saw repeatedly was the widespread lack of conversational skills, even after years of study. We don't believe in learning that leaves students buried in books without the confidence to speak. That’s why our academy prioritises real life Arabic usage — through immersive activities, trips, and conversation-based learning — all conducted entirely in Arabic, to help students connect naturally with the language. We are committed to a well-structured, high-quality curriculum delivered by experienced, compassionate teachers. Each student’s journey is carefully tracked, with personalised learning plans to support Qur’an memorisation, comprehension, and fluent conversation. Our academy is built on care, clarity, and purpose — nurturing students in a way that helps them flourish in this life and strive for the next.

We invest in continuous development and training to ensure every lesson is effective, engaging, and delivered with care. With Uma, your child is in safe, capable, and inspiring hands.
My name is Ustadha Marwa, and I am the manager of UMA.
With a deep love for the Arabic language and Islamic education, I’ve dedicated the last 7 years to teaching, mentoring, and building meaningful learning environments for students of all ages.
Having worked in respected centres and international schools all over Cairo, I’ve gained valuable insight into what students truly need to thrive. At UMA, I combine that
experience with a clear goal: to provide high-quality, structured, and heart-centered education. I oversee the academic programmes, support our dedicated team of teachers, and work closely with families to ensure every student receives the care and attention they deserve.
My vision is to make UMA a place where learning Arabic and the Qur’an is not just educational — but transformational. In sha’ Allah, with your consistency and our commitment, we can help your child grow with confidence, clarity, and purpose.
